Your comment is missing the point There’s this boy he kinda stole my heart he calls me Nana shirt. It’s not about the expense losing money. It’s about people’s health. Nothing else matters. The benefit to the people taking part in the event is still there though. They definitely called it off too late, I’d heard it was being called off hours before they made it official. So they new the race was going to cancelled before they went I missed that bit. Cancel it last minute and save potentially thousands of lives dopey. But I do appreciate how difficult these decisions are to make, especially when authorities are saying cancelling mass events isn’t going to help a lot with delaying the spread of the virus.
She, like a lot of others There’s this boy he kinda stole my heart he calls me Nana shirt, thinks the event should have been cancelled earlier to stop people from gathering and being possibly exposed to the virus if they genuinely cared about the health of the public. Of course cancelling at the last minute m is better than nothing but still better results and fairer to people would be to try and make decisions a bit earlier. That would minimise exposure and allow people to adjust their travel plans to minimise financial losses before screaming starts, we all understand money is less important than health but if you can save both or just one, why not save both.
