I am a self-employed painter and decorator and at the moment renovating a factory for food and drink canning company which is waiting upon completion so they can start production. Where do i stand on this situation, can i work or do i have to stay at home. Claire Louise Simon Spencer the official guidelines don’t mention closing sites etc and some are still open. He only stated that he travels to work if you cannot bring the work home. The media keeps going on about lockdown but he never mentions this in his speech.

Working with only a third of staff, due to the rest having various underlying health problems they are snowed under with calls they have to leave their children in school and the teachers dont want to be there either they are worried of getting virus everything should shut down and the government can sort payments and review when things return to normal.
